Feature & Follow Friday #2

 GFC email

Feature & Follow is a meme hosted by two hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every week, 2 blogs will be featured allowing everyone to discover some new blogs!

Today's question:

How did you come up with your blog title and address? Does it have a special meaning for you?Suggested by The Paperback Princess.

I didn't solely think of my blog title, whatever name I was coming up with was taken and so my friend Janhvi helped me with it. I wanted to have something like Hideaway or Den words in it, cause its what I like to do; take a book and hideaway in some corner so that I don't have to interact with people and just get lost in the book's world that I am reading.

Leave links to your Feature & Follow down in the comments below and I will follow back. :)

Goodreads Summary-

First person in her family to go to college? CHECK.
Straight A’s? CHECK.
On track to graduate early? CHECK.
Social life? …..yeah, about that….

With just a few weeks until she graduates, Antonella DeLuca’s beginning to worry that maybe she hasn’t had the full college experience. (Okay... Scratch that. She knows she hasn't had the full college experience).

So Nell does what a smart, dedicated girl like herself does best. She makes a "to do" list of normal college activities.

Item #1? Hook up with a jock.

Rusk University wide receiver Mateo Torres practically wrote the playbook for normal college living. When he’s not on the field, he excels at partying, girls, and more partying. As long as he keeps things light and easy, it's impossible to get hurt... again. But something about the quiet, shy, sexy-as-hell Nell gets under his skin, and when he learns about her list, he makes it his mission to help her complete it.

Torres is the definition of confident (And sexy. And wild), and he opens up a side of Nell that she's never known. But as they begin to check off each crazy, exciting, normal item, Nell finds that her frivolous list leads to something more serious than she bargained for. And while Torres is used to taking risks on the field, he has to decide if he's willing to take the chance when it's more than just a game.

Together they will have to decide if what they have is just part of the experiment or a chance at something real.

I'm waiting because...

I love this author's writing and loved the first book, All Lined Up. Lets see how this book turns out.

What is your WoW?

Teaser Tuesday #4 ~ Total Surrender (Sin Brothers #4) by Rebecca Zanetti

TeaserTuesdays-ADailyRhythm3

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:
" Because I'm a fucking killing machine, and you're a sweet little hacker who likes to flirt with danger. Baby, I am danger."

And the best one:

“No more fucking good-byes. I am so done with that shit and with all of us sacrificing our lives. We’re fucking done, and we’ll all fucking live. The first guy who tells me good-bye ever again, even if he’s just going to the fucking grocery store, gets a fist planted in his fucking face.”

~ Total Surrender (Sin Brothers #4) by Rebecca Zanetti

It is an amazing book. This author is definitely one of my favorite authors!

Review ~ Fall with Me (Wait for You, #4) by J. Lynn

Goodreads Summary:

Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice.

Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already.

But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

My Review:

We meet Roxy and Reece in the previous book. Roxy works in Jax's bar and Reece is his best friend. I was excited to read more about them when they were  introduced, to know what was their past that they used to glare at each other so much.

The story starts out great. I like Roxy and her shirts with weird sayings on it. And then you meet Reece and I loved him through out the book. He supported her with everything and was understanding but Roxy just disappointed me.  She behaves kind of weird not just with Reece but also when she's being stalked, she suspects its Casper, the friendly ghost. Now who thinks like that in real life?

I also felt unsatisfied with how Reece and Roxy just start dating without any explanation as to why now after 11 months of fighting like cats and dogs with each other.

But apart from these things, it was a good read. We get to meet old characters and catch up with them.

I like this author's writing and with this series some books are a total hit and some are miss for me unfortunately. This one was in the middle somewhere. I liked majority of the book but in between only I felt like how can anyone be this stupid. That said, I loved it when the characters weren't being stupid.

Some of my favorite quotes:

“Remember everything I said in the bedroom? I'm scared, too. And there are times I question what I deserve, but we're in this together. So fall with me," he said, smoothing his thumbs along my cheekbones. "Let yourself go and fall with me, and baby, I will catch you. I will get you through this. You just got to take that risk.”

"kissed me like he had all the time in the world. Slowly at first, just a brushing of his mouth against mine, and then deeper, parting my lips with his tongue. It wasn’t just a kiss. Not when his tongue danced over mine or the way he tasted me. Reece turned kissing into an art form, and if I had to attach a color to it, to get it on canvas, it would be supple shades of reds and purples.”

“Unfortunately, I also hated him, absolute loathed him. Ah, well, most of the time. Sometimes. Pretty much whenever I gazed upon his perfection and started lusting after him. Yeah, that's when I hated him.”

My Rating - 4 stars!
